Kazakhstan Project Management Association is the public association, called to carry out coordination, administrative, educational and certification activities. It is a national branch of International Project Management Association. The association was open in 2003 and during this time spadework for more active positioning of project thinking in economics and social spheres of development Kazakhstan was done.

The main activity of Kazakhstan Project Management Association sees in distribution of methodology project management, in professional training and certification experts in project management.

What is Project Management? In conditions of modern economy when the competition is high in all spheres and validity of separate products is estimated in weeks and even months, use of project management technologies is necessary not only for prosperity, but also for a survival of almost each commercial enterprise.
Under project management we understand activity, directed on a project realization with the maximum possible efficiency at restricted time, money (and resources), and quality of the final results of the project (documentary, for example, in a technical project).

For Kazakhstan implementation of modern methods and means of project management has special strategic value. Only having learned to effectively use resources, it is possible to become competitive in the world market, to enter 50 most competitive countries of the world.
